Bandleader, composer and trumpeter, Henry Lowther’s work on the British jazz scene for the last 50 years reads like a ‘Who’s Who’. He played at Woodstock in 1969 with Keef Hartley and has played regularly with, amongst others, Gordon Beck, Michael Garrick, Graham Collier, Mike Gibbs, Pete King, Loose Tubes, John Surman, John Taylor, Stan Tracey and Kenny Wheeler. As a session musician Henry has recorded with Bing Crosby, George Harrison, Elton John, Henry Mancini, Paul McCartney, Sammy Davis Jr., Sir Simon Rattle, Nelson Riddle and Talk Talk among many, many others
